Why we the people of our planet should be concerned !

Environmental change is eroding the foundations of natural life—threatening wildlife, diverse ecosystems, and the delicate balance of flora and fauna that all people, communities, and economies depend upon. From vanishing bees and declining forests to shrinking wetlands and endangered species, the loss of nature impacts our food, water, health, and security.

Each government, business, and citizen has a role—and a stake—in protecting the richness of our planet’s life. By acting together, we can preserve the vital natural systems that sustain us, ensuring a resilient future for all species and generations.

1. United States:

  • Extreme Weather: The Southeast and Gulf Coast are expected to experience more intense hurricanes, leading to higher flooding risks in cities like Miami and New Orleans. Wildfires: In California and Oregon, prolonged droughts may result in more severe wildfires, severely affecting air quality and health.

2. Bangladesh:

  • Sea-Level Rise: This low-lying country faces the threat of submergence due to rising sea levels, potentially displacing millions. Flooding: Increased monsoon rainfall could lead to severe flooding, crippling infrastructure and agricultural production.

3. Sub-Saharan Africa:

  • Food Security: Countries such as Ethiopia and Nigeria may experience diminished agricultural yields because of changing precipitation patterns and rising temperatures, exacerbating hunger. Health Risks: The spread of vector-borne diseases like malaria may increase, particularly as warmer temperatures expand mosquito habitats.

4. Australia:

  • Coral Bleaching: The Great Barrier Reef is at risk of bleaching as ocean temperatures rise, threatening marine biodiversity and tourism. Water Scarcity: Increased dryness in regions like New South Wales may challenge water supplies and agricultural irrigation.

5. India:

  • Heatwaves: Northern India could see more severe heatwaves, impacting health and agricultural productivity.

  • Monsoon Variability: Changing monsoon patterns leading to flooding or droughts, affecting millions dependent on agriculture.

6. Small Island Developing States (SIDS):

  • Displacement: Nations like the Maldives and Tuvalu risk losing habitable lands due to rising seas, resulting in climate migration. Ecosystem Loss: Increased storm frequency threatens vital coastal ecosystems like coral reefs and mangroves.

Research shows that the cumulative effects of climate change will exacerbate social and economic disparities worldwide, as vulnerable populations will bear the brunt of these changes. Addressing these challenges requires urgent global cooperation and concrete actions to mitigate impacts and adapt to new realities.

751 Earth is a global leader in end-to-end sustainable development solutions, specializing in the management of blue and green finance and unlocking a spectrum of financial instruments to drive impactful change. We identify and secure financing through grants—such as the Green Climate Fund and World Bank programs—and innovative mechanisms offered by leading investment banks, enabling access to capital for projects across the planet.

To further support our partners, we leverage:

  • Impact Finance: Directing capital toward projects that deliver measurable environmental and social results through channels like green bonds, impact funds, and conservation investment platforms.

  • De-Risking Instruments: Utilizing guarantees, concessional loans, and insurance to make private investments in climate and sustainability more secure and attractive.

  • Technical Assistance & Advisory Support: Linking projects to early-stage funding (e.g., through the City Climate Finance Gap Fund or similar donor-partner facilities) and capacity building to accelerate readiness for large-scale investment.
